It is a pleasure to return to the British Wildlife Centre. The venue is in our estimation the premier venue to work with British Wildlife.

Drew will lead a group of up to 10 clients during the day giving you the opportunity to benefit from his experience through the day without losing any of the benefits of working with a small group and in line with our ethos of giving all our students adequate time with a professional photographer and also sufficient space to work within the enclosures with the animals.

You will get the chance to photograph a wide variety of British wildlife including, foxes, red squirrels, otters, deer, badgers, wildcats, water voles and many others.

The day will consist of:

Morning briefing starting at 9.30 where we go over working with your camera and composition - don't worry it does not last long as we are firm believers of learning in the field!

The morning shoot starts at 10.00 followed by lunch where we can review the mornings work. The day will be rounded off with an afternoon shoot finishing around 5.00.

The venue is not open to the general public so this gives us the opportunity to get some shots that most people would never get the chance to see.

We will get the chance to actually go into the enclosures with foxes, otters, and the wildcats which will allow us the best chance of getting some excellent shots. It is a wonderful opportunity to get up close to animals that normally eschew contact with humans and is in itself a wonderful wildlife experience.

There is also an excellent red squirrel walk where we can get up close the squirrels (and usually have them climbing on us) to get shots of them feeding and climbing in the trees.

Through the day we will also have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of other animals including deer, badgers, water voles, harvest mice and hedgehogs.

Drew will be with the group all day offering help and assistance to all. Whilst he will have his camera there he is not there to take shots but to help the group and to give as much one to one tuition as is needed.

Each time we work with a different animal we will run through tips to getting the best shots available and ways to get the best out of your camera with the conditions available to the group.

As always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Drew.

See you at the shoot!!
